Worried About What Are Bands Are Getting? Why Not
All the best for the upcoming SYF~!
I know you all have been coming down to practice, though it wasn't a band day.. Thx lot. And for those who didn't, i hope that your playing is good. All we left is 2 more days. 2MORE DAYS! So just buck up and brush up your playing skills kay? :) I know that you can play, maybe with a bit of slacking too? hahs.. Well,, NO MORE SLACKS KAY? Especially the boys.. you know it.. :)
If any of you want to know more about the SYF results, or how the judges gives the score.. It's here.. And also some tips for some instruments..

Lastly,, i hope that most of you are able to bring back your instrument to practice and try out the tips ( given above) :) Thx..

Epiphany VI Concert!! Though present strenght of band is 25, but still we would like to invite you to play with us!

Hey fellow Changkat Bandmates, Alumni, Changkatans and Friends,
We're here to inform you guys about the upcoming events that will happen next week.
On the 16th Jan 2010, Changkat Changi Secondary School will hold an annual CCA orientation to introduce and let the new secondary 1 students or even any students in Changkat Changi Sec to choose their CCA of their choice. There will be performances and showcases of different CCAs in our school. The Band too will be part of this event.
Alumni are very most welcome back to performing with us. Please do contact our Sectional Leaders if you do want to perform with us.
To our new Secondary 1s and other School mates, if you do wish to join us, feel free to approach our teachers in charge, Mdm Habsa, Ms Georgina Law and Ms Adeline Chan. Don't worry if you don't have any musical background or talent, because most of our Band members were trained from scratch. Those primary school band members are very welcome to join us too. Our performance place will be as per usual, on the school Foyer.
There are many kind of Instruments to take up. Here are the list:
Flute
Clarinet
Saxophone
French Horn
Trumpet
Trombone
Euphonium
Tuba
Percussion [consist of drumset and etc]
We also include free tutorings on Music Theory. So don't wait anymore, do approach our teachers in charge if you want to join.(:

If you guys know any cupcakes or cookie recipes ?

Also if Sec1s are bored like crazy with theory.
try buying books to make it easier for understanding.
Let's be open minded people, not everyone with certs got
the ability to teach.
In groups? if needed, please seek help from seniors.
